GALLERY: 15,000 people to attend CQ Mega Lifestyle Expo

MORE than 12,000 people flowed through the gates at Callaghan Park over the past two days for the inaugural CQ Mega Lifestyle Expo but organisers say they are still aiming for higher numbers as the event continues today.

"It has been an absolutely unbelievable response from the community," organiser Catrina Trail said yesterday.

"It's only going to get bigger and better with the Luna Markets on till 9pm, it's going to be a hell of a show."

Ms Trail said original estimates were to see 15,000 people attend the event and she was confident the team would smash their goal.

"We aimed for 15,000 and that's the number we're going to get before (Sunday)," she said.

CQ Mega Lifestyle Expo is on again from 9.30am to 3pm today at Callaghan Park.
