Former Ants add sting to Intrust Super Cup side

TWO former Kingaroy Red Ants will take the field together in the first round of the Intrust Super Cup this weekend.

Logan Bayliss-Brow and Marcus Jensen will pull on a jersey for the Mackay Cutters in their match against the Easts Tigers on Saturday at Brisbane's Langlands Park.

Bayliss-Brow is one of 12 North Queensland Cowboys contracted players allocated to the Cutters for the 2019 season.

Cowboys stars Matt Scott, Josh McGuire and Jordan Kahu are also allocated to the Cutters for the season as their feeder club.

The Cutters will be looking to redeem themselves after the team's trial game against the Townsville Blackhawks.

The Cutters went down to the Blackhawks 26-18 on Saturday, March 2.

The Cutters will travel to the Tigers' home ground, Langland Park, for Saturday's 4.30pm game.
