Food service delivers

ONLINE ordering is growing for regional towns and Warwick is catching the trend.

Food delivery services are dominating the field with one local business jumping on the opportunity.

Allow Us is operating in Warwick township to deliver food to your front door.

Following a similar style to Uber Eats, the business is based entirely online.

After a year of planning Bec Page launched the delivery site in April.

She identified a missing service the area was requesting.

"People were asking for another option,” Mrs Page said.

"Accessibility can be a big obstacle in small towns and we want to help people in any way we can.”

It has been a timely project for Mrs Page to start up a website.

"It was a big process to build the website, it's compatible with all technological devices,” she said.

"And we had to link it with the restaurant's menus and food ordering systems.”

The delivery service is setting itself apart from the Uber Eats giant - promising accountability in its service.

All drivers hold appropriate food and health licences and pride themselves on their cleanliness.

"All our workers are certified in food health and safety handling and our van is equipped with storage units deigned for food transport.”

Mrs Page said Warwick was the perfect avenue for a food delivery service and more suited for it than the cities.

"Everything is in close proximity and we have a great community connection with the restaurants and our customers,” she said,

The small business has partnered with five local restaurants, Classio Indian restaurant is one of them.

Manager Deepika Rani said the service was growing a customer base and providing them with extra assistance.

"We can get busy in the restaurant and can't afford to lose a staff member out to deliveries,” Mr Rani said.

"It's a great distribution service for the town and creating more business for our restaurant.”

Mrs Page said Warwick needs to embrace the online service if businesses want to grow.
