Fisheries Qld wants your fish frames

YOU'VE devoured the freshly caught fish, but you'd be mistaken for thinking the carcass left behind was worthless.

Fisheries Queensland have put out the unusual call for recreational fishermen to drop off their fish frames to specified locations.

The frames of certain fish, including spanish mackerel, barramundi and snapper, among others, provide invaluable biological information and facts regarding fishery management.

Call Infofish on 4928 6133 to organise a Gladstone drop-off of your unwanted fish frames.
