Firefighters rush to put out hinterland blaze

FIREFIGHTERS worked to put out a blaze outside a Bald Knob home, where a large amount of smoke was reportedly issuing.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said multiple crews attended the scene of two structures external to the house on Bald Knob Road. Police were also on scene.

The fire was under control by about 12.50pm, the spokesman said.
