Dean Robert Gregory said he named his son Xander Harris from Buffy (the Vampire Slayer) and his daughter Kalami from McLeods.
"I named my son Atreyu like the boy from the Neverending Story, although, I was more naming him after the band," Tara Louise Philippi said.

Danielle Stevens is glad her parents changed their minds on names. "My mum wanted to call me Samantha, my sister Tabitha from Bewitched… good thing dad didn't let her."
