THE Mitchell Creek Rock N Blues Fest is an Australian Premier Music Festival hosted on a private 100 acre property up in the Noosa Hinterland's beautiful Mary Valley, Upper Kandanga, Queensland's amazing Sunshine Coast region.
The festival offers the chance to escape to the bushland for an adventure-filled weekend of rock, blues, soul and roots music.
Some of the features include free camping, and two alternating stages offering you non-stop music, so you never have to miss a band or artist.
With more than 150 of Australia's amazing rock and blues artists and a couple of big international acts performing for three days and nights and a calibre of music nothing short of incredible, the Mitchell Creek Rock N Blues Fest is high on the wish list of music lovers from across the country.
The high quality sound emanating from the two stages rotate seamlessly from one act to the next meaning festival goers don't have to waiting in between acts and won't miss any of the action because it's not necessary to choose who to see perform.
Described as being as intimate and moving as a house concert, yet as powerful and raunchy as a huge stadium event, the festival has been going strong for the past five years and is rapidly growing in popularity.
This year at Mitchell Creek, the ladies are turning up the heat with a killer female line-up set to impress.Award winning guitarist Ana Popovic is one of the headline acts.
Ana Popovic has it all: a triple threat. She is an excellent singer, guitarist, and songwriter. With seven releases (five CDs and two DVDs) under her curvaceous belt, Ana Popovic has become very much an in-demand concert act.
Other performers will include Aria Award winner Zky blue, Chain Award winners Kate Lush, Liza Ohlback, Ali Penny plus Lecia Louise and Diva Demolition.
