Fault causes bags to miss flight to Mackay

PASSENGERS arriving in Mackay aboard a Jetstar flight were left without luggage after a Brisbane Airport baggage loader malfunction.

About 60 bags were left behind and had to follow on a later flight.

A Jetstar spokesperson said the bags had been delivered to customers by the following day.

"We apologise to affected passengers for the inconvenience and appreciate their patience. We worked hard to ensure bags were on the first available flight to their destination and had them couriered directly to passengers as a priority."
