Family orchestral event one of fantasy and imagination

THE Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra is performing a concert for families, featuring the narrated story of Peter and the Wolf, in which all the characters are represented by various instruments in the orchestra.

Other works to be played include Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

Saturday, March 18, at 2pm at St Mark's Anglican Church in Buderim.

Led by Alex Pattri and conducted by Adrian King, this is a concert that will appeal to the young and not so young, the seasoned concert punter and the inexperienced listener. You will enjoy the magical enchantment of the music played by this superb orchestra of brilliant and experienced players, conducted by Adrian King.

Here is a great opportunity to introduce young ones to the delights of orchestral music related to children's stories.
