Family fun and fitness at Forest Springs event

FOREST Springs at Kirkwood is hosting a fun day on Sunday to raise funds for the Gladstone Schools Chaplain Program.

The event will start with a trail run through the Tondoon Botanic Gardens, hosted by Gladstone Road Runners.

There will be a 2km course and a 7km course.

Registration opens at 8am with the run at 9am. Entry is $5 per person or $20 per family.

The event also will have a mountain bike trail ride, live music, laser tag, bubble soccer, face painting and a sausage sizzle.

There will be displays by Gladstone Old School Car how, emergency services, Gladstone Mountain Biking Club and HUB Fitness.

Those attending will be able to chat with representatives from Telstra NBN, Tenheggler Homes, Absolute Homes and Coastal Homes.

The fun will continue until 2pm at Forest Springs Drive, Forest Springs.
