Exhibition shows story of Anne Frank still relevant today
THE Anne Frank House has introduced a new generation of travelling exhibitions: "Let Me Be Myself - The Life Story of Anne Frank".
Apart from the story of Anne Frank and the historical context of her time, it specifically highlights the contemporary relevance of the story of Anne Frank.
The travelling exhibition will arrive in Toowoomba at Cobb and Co Museum next Wednesday, October 12 and run until December 4.
This emotive exhibition will take you on journey of Anne Frank's life during the Holocaust highlighting the contemporary relevance of her story.
Follow the time lines to connect the personal story of Anne Frank with the important historical events of that time, from her birth in Frankfurt in 1929 to her death in a German concentration camp in 1945.
See large-size pictures of Anne's happy early childhood followed by her immigration to Amsterdam and time in hiding.
Connect with Anne's journey through short film and a replica of her renowned diary.
Admission is included with entry to museum, which is free for residents of the Toowoomba Regional Council region with proof of residency.
