HENRY Cavill is "protected" by his girlfriend.

The 'Batman v Superman: Man of Steel' actor is smitten with 19-year-old student Tara King and she is always there for him when he is having a hard time.

He said: "She protects me and is protective of me when I am having a hard time.

"She's there when I need looking after and the world is a little too heavy.

"Then she will happily take that weight for me and make sure that I am OK."

Despite his fame, the 32-year-old star is thankful Tara - who he met in a London club last autumn - treats him as a "normal" human being.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Tara allows me to be me and she doesn't have a problem with that. She treats me like a normal human being."

But though he likes being treated as normal, Henry admits he enjoys "luxurious" treats and vacations.

He said: "I tend to treat myself rather luxuriously and I will disappear for two weeks on a private yacht. That is when I truly relax... enjoying the wonderment of being on a private snazzy yacht and getting to swim in the sea every morning."
