WHEN musicians David Lang and DJ Vince heard a fierce storm had ripped through Pratten and Bony Mountain their first instincts were to hold a charity concert to help.

Holding the concert is no easy feat and the men knew they would have to convince their crew to also donate their time and efforts to the cause.

But this was no challenge.

Mr Lang said he held a meeting and support was unanimous.

"We have 12 people involved in the show and when it was suggested we do the show, everyone put their hand up and said 'I'm in'," he said.

"The reason behind everyone wanting to do this is we are not young people - we have all been in the industry for a long time - and this is our way to give back to the community."

The performers will bring their Elvis and Neil Diamond tribute show to the Warwick RSL tomorrow night, in aid of the storm victims.

A secret guest performer will also open the family-friendly show, which is expected to run from between three-and-a-half to four hours.

Mr Lang said the show has been well-received all over and there was a great amount of audience participation in the shows.

"We do this because we love it and the audience reaction is absolutely mind-blowing," he said.

Mr Lang said he and DJ Vince - who resides part-time in Warwick - felt privileged to offer a helping hand to the small communities.

Tickets for the show are $20 and can be purchased at the Warwick RSL.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.15pm start.

All money raised on the evening will go to the storm victims.
