Man caught with pants down was drunk and searching for girls

A MAN who climbed a 2m fence to find two mysterious girls - only to later be arrested without his pants in a public park - has received a prison sentence in Hervey Bay.

Kim Warren Clark, 29, pleaded guilty in the Hervey Bay Magistrates Court to several offences.

Police prosecutor Nicole Kunkel said Clark had suddenly appeared in the yard of a home in Eli Waters about 4.30pm on February 2, after climbing over a high wooden fence.

A highly intoxicated Clark refused the residents' demands to leave the premises and began searching the yard for something, Snr Const Kunkel said.

Eventually he climbed back over the fence into a neighbouring park, and began throwing rubbish over the fence back into the yard.

Police were called and found Clark standing without his pants on in the park, Snr Const Kunkel said.

The court heard Clark was urinating in public, and had no idea where his pants were.

Clark told the police he had climbed into the yard because was looking for two girls who had abandoned him in the park, Snr Const Kunkel said.

Clark was sentenced to two months jail with immediate parole.

He was also fined $750 for other offences relating to a noise complaint.
