Drive by shootings rock northern Brisbane suburbs

TWO shootings rocked the Moreton region overnight with shots been fired into two properties - one in Brendale and the other in Kallangur.

About 7.50pm a single shot was fired into the upstairs window of a house on Gowrie St, Brendale. A man inside the house was not injured.

Then about 8.15pm a single shot was fired into a Blazey St residence at Kallangur, damaging a kitchen window.

There were three people inside but none were injured.

Police believe the shots may have been fired from a vehicle which sped away from both locations.

A 25-year-old Strathpine man will appear in Pine Rivers Magistrates Court this morning after being charged with drug-related offences while investigations into the firearm offences continue.
