LETTER: Drain flies on the attack

THERE is invasion of drain flys attacking the town centre.

It is believed these pesky annoying flys are coming from council drain pipes which is their breeding ground. They are in shops, cafes, banks and office blocks.

Investing in pest control for individual premises seems useless as they return the next day.

This might be a question/investigation by one of you reporters as to what might or might not being done about it.

What is council doing to rid these critters that are driving people insane?
