Deebing Creek works plan

A SNAPSHOT of Deebing Creek will help the council monitor the environment as the catchment undergoes substantial change in the future.

Councillor David Morrison said the Deebing Creek Corridor Plan would collate information on current and planned works.

"The Deebing Creek corridor is a valued natural system which supports the sustainable movement of people and connects the community to key centres, open spaces, the natural environment and Ipswich's cultural history," he said.

"It is intended that the plan will provide both short and long-term guidance on the strategic management of the waterway and the corridor for the future."

The council will provide a version of the plan for the community and relevant stakeholders.
