THERE'S been a changing of the guard at one of Toowoomba's longest running dance schools.

In a case of former student becomes teacher, and teacher becomes examiner, Living Dance School has been relaunched as Radiance Academy Toowoomba with Mrs Sally Andrew at the helm.

Prior to the change, Living Dance School Toowoomba operated for 30 years as a mainstay within the Toowoomba dance community, under the tutealge of former professional dancer Beth Bluett de Baudistel.

However in 2015, Ms Bluett de Baudistel handed over the reigns to her former student.

Following her training with Ms Bluett de Baudiste, Mrs Andrew completed her teacher training at the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet in Melbourne before returning to Living Dance School to impart her knowledge to the next generation of Toowoomba's dancers.

Recently, Ms Baudistel travelled back to Toowoomba from Sydney to examine Mrs Andrew's students in the Living Dance International syllabus and was extremely pleased with the results the girls have achieved.
