CQ travellers still keen to fly to Bali

THERE seems to be no ill-feeling attached to Central Queenslanders travelling to Indonesia in the wake of the Bali Nine executions.

Flight Centre spokesman Haydn Long said the execution of Australians Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan had not impacted any travel arrangements between Queensland and Indonesia; Bali in particular.

He said many holiday-makers associated the popular tourism destination of Bali with "something different to Indonesia".

"And because of this, there really isn't any negative impact on travel to Indonesia," Haydn said.

He expected any travel arrangements to Indonesia to be potentially changed further down the track.

He said one woman held off her travel to Bali until after the event died down.
