Couple looks forward to happy life

RENAE Frosio and David Sharp recently announced their engagement to family and friends who were over the moon at the happy couple's decision to wed.

The Tannum Sands couple who have been together for two years met through friends and are currently focusing on the next stage in their lives - building a home together.

"There are no dates for the wedding just yet as we are going to concentrate on building the house," Ms Frosio said.

Renae said she will always remember how David popped the question and is looking forward to spending her life with her new fiancé.

"We had just signed all the paper work for our block of land when David asked me to go for a drive.

"We went up to the waterfront lookout and that's when he asked me to be his wife forever."

David proposed with a white gold square cut ring and they celebrated that night with family and friends.

Renae said her father was the first to know of their engagement after David rang him for permission.

"Our family is so happy, especially my dad."

Renae and David are currently in the midst of planning their engagement party for friends and family with wedding plans on the backburner for now.

"I would love a garden wedding and it would be great to go to America, maybe New York for the honeymoon."
