COTA: Free info sessions to help you plan ahead

COTA is offering free information sessions to discuss the importance of planning ahead and to provide planning tools for you to manage what your future may bring.

COTA's trained peer educators will come to your community group and, through their interactive sessions, will discuss:

  • Why it's important to plan ahead;
  • How to identify key things that are relevant to you when making important decisions;
  • How to identify key people in your life who know, respect and will act on your wishes should you be unable to act yourself;
  • How to have conversations with family and friends when making important decisions.

Sessions will focus on Enduring Powers of Attorney using a case study to highlight the importance of planning ahead.

There'll also be an opportunity to review your own future using our specially designed planning tools.

Sessions run for about an hour and are supported by resources developed specifically for this purpose by COTA Queensland.

Sessions are available from February, 2017, to May, 2018, and are offered in various locations across Queensland.

Book now to secure a session with your group!
