Australian Govt raises warning level on Indonesia travel

CONCERNED that another terrorist attack is imminent, the Department of Foreign Affairs has updated its travel advice for Indonesia.

"Indications suggest that terrorists may be in the advanced stages of preparing attacks in Indonesia," DFAT said on its website, smarttraveller.gov.au.

"We advise you to exercise a high degree of caution in Indonesia, including Bali."

The update follows a similar warning on Sunday for the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
