Come one and all for St Cath’s expo

Crafts, cupcakes and talented kids - the St Catherine's Catholic College Community Expo has it all.

Open to the entire community, the expo is set to be an enjoyable night for all involved.

"We put the expo together once a year to showcase home-based businesses, and a lot of them are parents of staff," organiser Melanie Dwyer said.

"We've got some hand-made clothes, candles, jewellery, there's cup cakes and we've got a few businesses doing displays.

"We've got a photographer coming in, Relay for Life are doing a display, we've got first aid, plant stalls, dream catchers, essential oils, and much more."

You can even be in the running to win some awesome raffle prizes donated by local businesses.

"Whitsunday Crocodile Safari, they've donated a family ticket, and Pinnacles Resort and Spa have donated a one-bedroom jacuzzi suite," Ms Dwyer said.

The funds raised from the expo will go into giving the kids something fun to do at lunch time.

"Last year we purchased two ping pong tables and this year we're looking at a set of outdoor netball posts, and also Lego for lunch time as well," Ms Dwyer said.
