Classic and vintage cars, bikes on display at Lismore

ARE looking for headers for your 1933 Dodge? Or maybe a wishbone for your Model A Ford?

Then perhaps you should get down to the annual Borderline Street Rodders Lismore Swap Meet this Sunday at the Lismore Showground.

Organiser Peter Nielsen said their will be plenty of "interesting cars” to see, and car parts on sale - some of them hard to find.

"There will be hotrods from our own club, plus other local clubs,” he said.

"We also invite owners of all classic and vintage cars and bikes to display on the day, they can just turn up on the day.”

"There will be turn of the 20th century cars ... from the start of motoring... to the present day.”

The Club has been gathering for 14 years, raising money for local charities such as the Southern Cross LADS, the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter and the national support group Soldier On.

The Club has raised more than $60,000 in that time.

As well as cars, bikes and parts, there will be food, drinks and coffee available and kicks off at 6am on Sunday August 21 with a $3 entry charge.
