Toowoomba gets fashion first with new event

AN exclusive event is set to hit Toowoomba to showcase fashion not yet in stores.

The latest samples from Australian fashion houses will be on show tonight in a runway event.

Love the Labels will also give people the chance to pre-order pieces that catch their eye while sipping on champagne and enjoying culinary delights.

The event was started by Scene Event Management's Lauren Janson Roberts, who said the event was in direct response to the highly evolved Toowoomba fashion movement.

The event is collaborating with some of Toowoomba's leading fashion retailers and stylists including Ivy Designer Collections, Florence and Marabel, Smoke and Mirrors, Cropt, Luminosa and Lash'd Doll House.

Ms Janson Roberts said with fashion so accessible via social media, Toowoomba fashion followers were accustomed to getting the latest fashion fast but now they would be able to get it first.

Love the Labels will present exclusive Australian labels and new season collections from Bec and Bridge, Alice McCall, Asilio and more.

The event will be held at The Office from 6.30pm.

Tickets include dinner and dessert canapes and drinks as well as goodie bags.

Tickets are available now and cost $75.
