Children wiggle with excitement

THERE is no way Rocky locals will miss all the fun of The Wiggles performance at the Pilbeam Theatre on November 5 and 6.

Yesterday was the first day the tickets went on sale and one doting mother lined up at 5.30am outside the theatre, three-and-a-half hours before opening time.

Tickets to see The Wiggles Big Birthday Party went like hot potatoes, with about 40 people lined up before the theatre opened.

Three-year-old Wiggles' fan Carsyn Otto waited for the tickets with his mum, Julie, sporting his yellow and red jumper of the children's entertainers.

Julie said Carsyn watched his Wiggles' DVD at home almost every day, and even had a toy replica of his favourite character, Murray's, guitar.

“We went and saw them last time they were in Rocky,” Julie said. “They're very good role models and they've been around for a long time. Carsyn's excited he'll see them again.”
