Chan and Sukumaran in next group to face firing squad

THE Indonesian Attorney-General  HM Prasetyo says Andrew Chan and Myurun Sukumaran will be in the next group to face the firing squad.

AAP is reporting the pair will be part of a group of 11 convicts to be executed as early as March.

Two weeks ago, Andrew Chan had his final bid for clemency rejected by Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Fellow Bali Nine member Myruan Skukumaran's clemency bid was also rejected last month.

The pair was caught trying to carry more than 8kg of heroin to Australia in 2005.
