CATS pounce on new production
TALENTED young Ipswich people are already in training for what could be their best end-of-year spectacular yet.
Clients of the Ipswich CATS service for people with intellectual and physical impairment have started rehearsing for what will be their cabaret show, to be performed in December for International Day of People with Disability.
Dance teacher Kiah Latham took her class through their paces at the Ipswich PCYC Pulse centre, making sure everyone knew their steps.
CATS service co-ordinator Aaron Evans said Ms Latham and CATS support staff were doing a great job preparing the cast.
"It is a challenge," Mr Evans said.
"One of our performers is completely blind, so they had to use a doll to show him his moves by feel. These guys want to do what everyone else is doing."
