THERE aren't too many events that can turn an entire room into a blubbering mess, but Caroline and Bryce Dieckmann's wedding was definitely one of them.
In October 2010, Caroline was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was recently given just weeks to live.
This 22-year-old mother had one last wish - to marry her man - and the community of Warwick made it happen.
On Saturday night, guests flocked from all corners of the country to celebrate the nuptials of Mr and Mrs Dieckmann.
The pair was officially married in a private ceremony earlier last week, but the reception was held at the Warwick Golf Club at the weekend.
"I just couldn't wait any longer to marry her. I wasn't going to let another day go by," Bryce said.
He said marrying Caroline was one of the happiest moments of his life.
"Around the world a million times happy."
But without the love of both Caroline and Bryce's family, their friends and the support of the community, Caroline would not have got her wish.
The family wanted to thank everyone for their kind donations and generous hearts.
When Caroline and Bryce made their grand entrance into the reception, there was not a dry eye in the room.
Not a single heart that wasn't beating out of a chest, and not a second that passed where Bryce left his wife's side.
It was a night to remember.
The entire Warwick community has been touched so deeply by the story of Caroline, and her family would like to thank everyone who played a part in making her dream come true.
Caroline's aunt Di Bennett, who spent countless hours organising the wedding, couldn't thank the community enough for its support.
"Thanks to everyone that helped and everyone who showed up. It's just beautiful," Mrs Bennett said.
"And I want to thank Caroline for just being so amazing.
"She is so strong and it's just gorgeous that she's here," she said.
Mother-of-the-bride, Cheryl Hogan, said she would also like to thank everyone involved in granting Caroline's final wish.
"Thank you everyone, very much," Ms Hogan said.
One of Caroline's best friends, Kathleen Elphick, said watching Caroline and Bryce wed was an experience like no other.
"I have never seen love like that before. They're just an amazing couple," Ms Elphick said.
