Car abandoned after hinterland rollover

EMERGENCY services are still searching for the occupants of a single vehicle rollover in the early hours of this morning.

The vehicle was found crashed into a tree at 3.45am on Old Gympie Road in Mooloolah Valley and a search is under way.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were first on scene and said there was no sign of occupants.

It was left with the tow truck driver.

Queensland Police Service said the vehicle was not listed as stolen but said it had a NSW number plate.

Authorities are trying to get in touch with the owner through its registration.
