Campbell buddies up to Buderim

CAMPBELL Newman appears to be the prodigal son of Queensland politics, and many scaled Buderim mountain to bask in his glory yesterday.

Buderim MP Steve Dickson shadowed his leader as the would-be premier visited the suburb.

Former Maroochy mayor Joe Natoli caught up with the former Brisbane lord mayor.

Cr Ted Hungerford popped in to say hello to Mr Dickson and the LNP state leader.

Perhaps strangest was Buderim ALP candidate Joel Rooskov, who was seated near Mr Newman with his campaign manager and young daughter.

His campaign manager said “a little birdy” told them that Mr Newman would be visiting and it was “no coincidence” they ended up strategically in the background.
