BEACH VOLLEYBALL: Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar have scored their first wins at the 2018 Asian Beach Volleyball Championships.
The Australian duo defeated Malaysia's Shu Woon and Zhi Ling in straight sets, 21-8 and 21-11, in their first game of the championships in Thailand.
In their second game, the Australians were challenged by Pawarun and Thatsarida on their home sand, but won the game in two sets, 21-18 and 21-13.
Clancy and Artacho del Solar will face Japan's Take and Kusano this morning in their final fixture game, with the winner to play either New Zealand or another Japanese duo in the first round of finals.
