A BURLY ute with a bit of grunt or an extremely agile rigid, however you describe IVECO's Limited edition 45C17 Daily you can be certain it is ready to work.

Limited to only 100 examples, the passenger car licence Limited Edition Daily features a heavy-duty, Australian-made aluminium tray body, tow bar package, nudge bar, bonnet protector and floor mats.

The locally-built tray body features generous internal dimensions of 4,050 mm L x 2,057 mm wide with removable drop sides and tailgate courtesy of quick-lock hinges, to make the most of the 45C17's 4,495kg GVM.

Other benefits of the tray include a window protector and tube headboard, internal load restraint points, front corner step and sturdy rope/strap rails.

Buyers who would like to further tailor the tray to even better suit their application can choose from a range of additional accessories at extra cost, these include ladder racks, a variety of toolbox options and even a soap and water dispenser.

As well as delivering the convenience of a work-ready vehicle and the value-added elements, the cab chassis itself is extremely well specified and includes IVECO's 3.0 litre turbo diesel engine producing 170hp and 430Nm as well as the market-leading Hi-Matic 8-speed full automatic transmission.

On the safety front, the Daily fares considerably better than its work-ready, cab over competitors.

Fitted as standard are driver, passenger and dual curtain airbags, front and rear disc brakes with ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Electronic Stability Program, Anti Slip Regulator, Hill Holder and Daytime Running Lamps.

Driver appointments and comfort features are also high.

Behind the wheel of the Daily, the driver is treated to an ISRI air suspension seat with arm rest, while the two front seat passengers receive a body contoured bench seat with headrests.

Further aiding the driving experience is automatic climate control, cruise control and the IVECONNECT multimedia system with GPS that can be operated through steering wheel-mounted controls.

For additional cost, the IVECONNECT system can also be equipped with a reversing camera with camera positioning decided by the customer to best suit the intended application.

If a camera is not required, a reversing buzzer comes as standard fitment.

"For a comparable price to a dual cab 4x4, the Limited Edition Daily can also be driven on a car licence and provides the same car-like driving experience, safety features and convenience,” IVECO's Australian Marketing Manager, Darren Swenson, said.

"The Daily will also deliver a far superior payload thanks to a 4,495kg GVM and a braked towing capacity of 3,500kg,” Mr Swenson said.
