Find love and promote the region on new TV show
A MAJOR TV network is on the lookout for South Burnett's best bachelors.
Channel Nine is getting ready to launch the latest reality show, When Love Comes To Town.
The TV show will be based around a bus of women between the ages of 24-35 from the city who travel throughout rural Australia looking for love.
Each eligible bachelor chosen to feature on the show will have their chance to find love on screen, and have their region featured on the TV show.
Channel 9 casting director Brooke Hulsman told the South Burnett Times the show would stop in the bachelor's home for about a week.
She encouraged the men of the South Burnett to apply for their chance to find love and feature on national television.
"We are looking for guys from all walks of life, but they must be looking for love," she said.
"They can be farmers, teachers, policemen, miners, the list is endless.
"They just need to be guys who are ready to find love, ready to open themselves up to the idea of meeting that someone special who maybe they wouldn't ordinarily have had the chance to."
Filming of the new reality TV show will take place in October this year.
When Love Comes To Town will join Channel Nine's reality TV roster, including Australia's Got Talent, Big Brother and The Great Australian Bake Off.
However Ms Hulsman said the show would be a little bit different to others and would not feature prize money.
All of the South Burnett bachelors are encouraged to apply at the website.
