Bogan battlers back in Prossie

THE Housos and Fat Pizza teams by popular demand are back in the Whitsundays and this time they have a mystery guest.

You've seen the TV show and the movie, now get set to see your bogan heroes live on stage.

On Friday, February 3, at Proserpine Entertainment Centre you will be able to decide who's funnier and the most staunch.

Featuring all your favourite characters from the acclaimed TV series, Franky, Kev the Kiwi, Shazza and Pauly will be sure to have you in stitches.

The show's creator and star Paul Fenech said the actors played the roles of characters from Fat Pizza and Housos TV shows.

"It' s stand-up comedy, the audience gets involved, we show some videos and there is some bogan hunting,” Fenech said.

"It's a top night.”

Mr Fenech said the cast prowled the crowd for the best bogan and there would be prizes galore for the winners.

"I have got high hopes for the Whitsundays. I have been up there and there are some beautiful bogans across the landscape, either side of Airlie Beach, I love it,” he joked.

Mr Fenech said the welcome the show had received in regional Queensland was incredible.

"The atmosphere has been unbelievable everywhere,” he said.

"People ask me 'why

are you doing these tours to the smaller part of Australia?'.

"We have never done a regional Queensland (until last year) and I know that sucked because we have some mad fans out there.”
