A SIMPLE game of Bingo has taken care of Graeme Wilson's fuel bill for what he estimates will be at least the next three to four months.

The 47-year-old Maryborough man was ecstatic when he learned that he had won $1000 worth of fuel vouchers in the Fraser Coast Chronicle's Bill Busters Bingo competition.

"I'll be going camping for a bit in Baffle Creek, which is up north from here," he said.

"I'll be catching up with a mate who has a big truck and a caravan.

"Having the fuel covered will definitely help take the financial burden off me."

Graeme said the only other competition he had won also gave him money for fuel.

"Years ago, I won $100 fuel from a competition where you had to put a sticker on the back of a vehicle, and you won if your numberplate was published in the paper," he said.

"I now have two vehicles, so the $1000 voucher will spread across them.

"I sometimes enter competitions - mainly online and sometimes when Facebook has them as well."

And what advice does Graeme have for potential competition winners?

"Just do the entry form," he said.

"You've got to be in it to win it."

If you have a Bingo card picked up in previous Fraser Coast Chronicle editions, don't forget to look for numbers to cross off in the Monday-Saturday editions.
