Bingo makes its mark on Adrienne

CUP of tea, man alive and lucky seven are the calls Adrienne Cameron keeps an ear out for once a week.

The Bundaberg bingo lover has been playing the game for about five years and said it was the perfect excuse to spend time with friends and an opportunity to win big prizes.

“I love bingo because it is a lovely social morning out,” Adrienne said.

“I can see my friends and we have a win every now and then,” she said.

When it comes to game play, Adrienne said she always focused on her lucky numbers, three, five and seven

“I was born on the third, my daughter was born on the fifth and our anniversary is the seventh,” she said.

“What I love about playing bingo is the excitement of the win.”

Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association bingo co-ordinator Rose White said a lot had changed in the past few years to make the game more fun.

“We work with tablets rather than paper and pen, which is a lot easier,” she said.

“The social aspect of the game is fun and it doesn’t cost a fortune either.”
