Bindi gets animated for adventures with Curious George

BINDI Irwin has been given an animated makeover for a special appearance in popular television series Curious George.

She will appear in season seven episode "Monkey Down Under" on Wednesday, 8am on pay TV channel Nick Jr.

"I was so excited to be a part of Curious George," Bindi previously said.

"He's my favorite monkey, I've loved him my whole life.

"It's wonderful he could help me teach kids about the beaut bonza animals that live around my home at Australia Zoo."

Executive producer Dorothea Gillim said mixing monkeys with kangaroos made for a great episode.

"Bindi Irwin serves as the perfect guide to introduce Australia's unique animal world to George and young viewers at home."
