WATCH: Bill Shorten congratulates Dami Im on Eurovision

OPPOSITION Leader Bill Shorten has commended Australia's efforts in the Eurovision song competition during a press conference at Cudgen.
Mr Shorten congratulated Australia's contestant, Dami Im, on claiming second place in the competition overnight.
"It was a great outstanding effort overnight from Dami Im," Mr Shorten said.
"She really made us all proud to be Australian when people woke this morning and saw how well she'd done."
Mr Shorten also gave a shout-out to Ms Im's supporters, the Dami Army.
I think everyone who wasn't a member of the Dami Army is looking to enlist," he said.
