THE Big Banger Truck Show rumbled into the Lowood Showgrounds on Saturday in an entertainment packed event for truck lovers.
The temperature rose to a maximum 35 degrees, but the Aussie summer heat was not enough to prevent passionate truckies showcasing their rigs to a truck loving audience
However, big rigs old and new were not the only attractions on show at the Big Banger Truck Show.
Patrons fed and groomed animals at the Serendipity Farm, enjoyed the sounds of the country performed by Kev Smith and were treated to a truck roll over demonstration.
President of the Transport People United Inc Gordon Paul said the goal of the Big Banger Truck Show is to educate people of car and truck safety and to make the trucking industry safer.
"It would be great to see this event become a yearly event," Somerset Mayor Graeme Lehmann said.
