ANOTHER Big Brother romance has been cut short with the eviction of intruder Ava David.
The 29-year-old became the sixth housemate to be booted off the reality series last night.
The Melbourne musician was forced to part ways with romantic interest Josh after receiving just 14 percent of the public vote and coming in a distant third to fellow nominees Angie and Estelle.
David spent just three weeks in the house as the first intruder of the series.
"Being an intruder was always going to be a tough gig," she said.
"You're the underdog, but everyone likes the underdog. It's the Aussie way.
"I'm really chuffed about the whole Big Brother experience. It's a wonderful chapter for the Ava storybook."
She said she looked forward to reuniting with Josh "on the outside".
"He's the bee's knees," she gushed.
"We will definitely have a connection outside the house."
David believes the Big Brother house was the perfect environment to test the strength of their connection.
"We're birds of a feather," she said.
"We can spend copious amounts of time together. We can speak a lot about dribble or nothing.
"To have that concentrated and acute sort of environment makes that (connection) even more evident I think."
Queensland bartender Sam remains as the only intruder in the house.
