Bali police look into death of Aussie woman found in pool

INVESTIGATIONS into the death of Queensland woman Denni North are continuing after the 33-year-old's body was found face-down in a Bali swimming pool.

The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Tuesday the body of an Australian woman was found in Bali on the weekend but would not reveal how she died.

Indonesian police are investigating and the Australian Government has offered assistance to Ms North's family.

Tributes to Ms North were posted on the Facebook page belonging to the Cocoon Beach Club where she worked in public relations.

"It is with incredible sadness that we announce that one of our Cocoon family Denni North passed away suddenly on Sunday morning," a post on the club's Facebook page said.

"Our sincerest condolences go out to the family and friends of this beautiful and vivacious young woman."
