A MAN has been charged after allegedly leading police on a pursuit in a stolen truck filled with stolen tins of baby formula.
About 7.35am on Tuesday, Highway Patrol attempted to stop a white Hino table top truck on Eldridge Road in Condell Park.
The 39-year-old driver failed to stop and started a pursuit, which was terminated shortly after due to safety concerns.
Officers then located the truck in a nearby industrial complex on Willfox Street where they arrested a 39-year-old man.
Police will allege that he was the driver of the Hino truck and that the truck had been stolen from a Milperra address.
Police will also allege the truck's load - a large number of baby formula tins - had also been stolen from a break and enter in Regents Park.
The man was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with Skye's Law, drive while disqualified. Inquiries are continuing into the truck and contents.
He appeared at Bankstown Local Court the same day and was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court on November 8.
