Aussie version of 'The Real Housewives' on its way

FOXTEL has commissioned an Australian version of the American reality TV franchise The Real Housewives.

The Real Housewives of Australia will give viewers a look into the extravagant lives of five of Australia's most privileged women.

Production company Matchbox Pictures will begin casting in the coming weeks.

The 10-part series will air on Arena next year.
