Art and Craft Expo is on its way
ARTS and crafts from Townsville, Ayr, Collinsville, Bowen and Mackay will be the pride of the ESA Art and Craft Expo this month.
The event will be held under cover at the Proserpine Entertainment Centre on Friday and Saturday, July 15 and 16.
A lovely morning and afternoon tea will be provided by the Friends of the Theatre group and lunches will be for sale at a reasonable price.
A large variety of work, including painting, wood turning, gem faceting, crocheting, scrap booking, photography, quilting, toy making and glass painting will be on display, with much, much more.
This year the men will not be disappointed as there will be a display of woodwork.
The wood turners scrap bookers and card makers will be offering a demonstration and will conduct make and take workshops.
To top it off there will be tarot card and palm readers at the expo.
In other ESA news, long standing member Grace Hurst from Wilsons Beach was installed as state president of the ESA State Council.
The incoming president for the Proserpine branch of ESA is Pat Mengel.
