Allan's got no regrets whatsoever

"THEY are a top outfit, there is no doubt about that,” Allan Shepheard from Launceston told us when he rolled in driving an immaculate Recycal 2017 R620 Scania.

He had just driven into Mood Food, the roadhouse at Kempton, and was towing a six-axle dog trailer loaded with scrap at the time, on his return leg from Hobart back to Launceston.

"I have been with Recycal for five years now, since the very start in fact,” he said.

"I worked my way up from driving a five-tonner to this Scania today, and this is a superb rig - tops on comfort and perfect for the job all round.”

Allan has been on the road for seven years, said it was a top job, and he would do the same again with no regrets.

"And this is just a great outfit. They run the best gear, and they look after their drivers and are good people to work for in every way.”

He said in his time off he rides bikes, both on and off road, and enjoys anything outdoors.
