Aerospace future up for talks

IPSWICH will be included in a series of workshops to discuss a proposal to make Queensland the hub for the multi-billion dollar Asia-Pacific aerospace industry.

State Development Minister Anthony Lynham has released a discussion paper detailing thousands of job and business opportunities for Queenslanders.

The aerospace sector already provides 4500 direct jobs in aircraft component manufacturing and repair services and generated $600 million to the state economy in 2014-15.
