Don Fish

WE WERE happy to catch up with Don Fish from Oatlands recently when he rolled in to Mood Food at Kempton driving his 2012 480 Hp TGS 35-480 MAN long rigid for some fuel and a quick cuppa.

He was on the way home to his farm at Oatlands from Impact at Bridgewater with 16 tonnes of fertiliser on the back.

Don tells us he is delighted with the automatic MAN and after eight months work it has proved ideal in every way for the job, as well as having great economy and European comfort.

Don has been operating as an owner driver/farmer for 50 years now, though he admits he mainly uses the truck to cart his own freight for the farm.

He farms chiefly sheep and cattle and said this looks like being a really good year, other than the ever-present fire threat.
