Nick Kent

WE STOPPED over at the Caltex Truckstop and Roadhouse at Epping Forest the other day for a bite to eat and a great cuppa and were happy to catch up with Nick Kent from Huonville when he rolled in for a rest break.

Nick was driving a Fresh Freight 2004 Stirling with a 420 Hp M11 Cummins up front and towing a pan on his return leg from Hobart to catch the TT Line ferry Spirit of Tasmania at Devonport at the time. He told us that although he has only been there for six months he was rapt. "Best crowd I have ever worked for," he told us.

"Easy going, a good truck and a good crew to work with. Plus they are keeping us flat out just now which is good in these trying times."
