Mick Kemp

PASSING through Collinsvale the other day, we were fortunate to catch up with our local water carter Mick Kemp when he was hard at work delivering fresh water to local homes in Chigwell.

Mick was driving his 1981, 165 Hp Isuzu JCR rigid with the fresh water tank on the back, and he tells us he has been flat-out since January when Ross Allen gave the game away.

Mick tells us he has been on the road for a lifetime, having driven log trucks, tippers and earth-moving equipment, but this job came up at the right time and he is enjoying being home at nights and working in his local area.

Lynda whose garden is always a show place loves it as well. Mick also wanted to mention Ian and Tommo at the Collinsvale store who have done so much to help him get started and have supported Mick all along.
